The challenges of this dispensation
Hello dear brothers and sisters. What a great blessing the Lord extends to His people at this time, this is the dispensation of the fullness of time.
200 years have passed since that moment when Joseph Smith Jr decided to go to the woods to pray for answers. That moment on the way from his humble home, to the place of his humble prayer, was a milestone in this dispensation. The degree of importance of that day would be so glorious and impactful for the world, that enemy hosts were on hand to try to prevent such an event, known in the intricacies of Mormonism as: The First Vision.
Deeply touched by the Spirit, that generation of Saints endeavored to practice the teachings lived by the Nephite people, as reported in the 4th Book of Nephi, and detailed by Apostle Jonah (Chapter 1 of the three Nephites) in the Sealed Book. Despite their efforts, the Restored Church on April 6, 1830, were condemned (D&C LDS 84: 54-57), for treating lightly what they received.
The answer to that prayer, which opens this dispensation, resulted not only in bringing the Book of Mormon to light. Everything has changed in the last 2 centuries in this sphere of creation which we call Earth. The human mind is of no use without the influence of the Spirit of God. And it was expanded. The advances have been incredible in all areas of knowledge, in medicine, science and technology. These advances, however, should go hand-in-hand with the needs of the children of the Most High, living together, with a just and fraternal distribution of the wealth left as an inheritance by the Father of us all. However, the world groans under sin and darkness, because “For the love of money is the root of all evil” – (1 Tim 6:10).
We are facing two major world wars. Millions of our brothers were killed in combat or as a result of the side effects of these clashes. The Jewish people were again persecuted and killed, a fact known historically as a holocaust. That system devised by Satan takes over the land, and its inhabitants start to rely too much on the power of wealth, money (MT 6:24), forgetting what is taught in the Book of Proverbs (11: 4) “Riches profit not in the day of wrath”. In a short period of time, the riches that the Father left for all, are concentrated in the hands of a few. And so, millions suffer. The prayers of the little ones, of the orphans, of the street children, reach the skies in desperate pleas. Their childhood is stolen, their purity and chastity are violated, hunger, misery and drugs accompany them daily. God has already revealed to the Seer His pain and sadness in the face of this tragic scenario.
Meanwhile, many profess to speak in the name of God, while their hearts are turned away from Him. They perform miracles in His name. They build real palaces for their preaching and worship, at the expense of a lot of money and the corruption of the faith.
Amid this confusion programmed by the enemy of all righteousness, our Heavenly Father, in His everlasting mercy, stretches out His hand again to His people. Sent His Angels to continue what we call the Restoration of the Gospel. Raised a Seer, who fulfills all the requirements before the heavens and the Earth to assume his post in this great Work. Despite the prophecies contained in the Book of Mormon, that all these things would happen, a large part of the people who are part of the restoration branches still do not recognize him as the Translator of the Sealed Book. This translation was made in front of 2 clerks (1 Brazilian and one American), which was taken from the Mormon Plates, the same ones handed over to the Prophet of this dispensation Joseph Smith Jr. Three Brazilian witnesses were called. Eight American witnesses were also called. All tests were done. Joseph’s great-grandson held and recognized the Plates as authentic (as stated and recorded by him in the preamble to the Sealed Book). The testimonies are sweeping the Earth.
And you dear brother, dear sister, are you going to wait for someone to tell you what you should do? Or will you do what you did with the Book of Mormon? That is, read the Sealed Book and ask the Lord if it is true?
The fact is that 200 years ago the Lord started this phase of calling, and now time is passing by very quickly, and it is coming very close to the end. The harvest has started.
Let us unite in prayer for the well-being of all our brothers in all parts of the world, at a time so difficult that it is just beginning. Let us be prepared for the next day of this pandemic. Many will need help, and God’s people need to qualify for such an important task. Let us extend our hands mercifully. Let us be willing to share what we have. Seek the best feelings of empathy, altruism and compassion, and place yourself before the Lord of Hosts to be an effective tool in His divine hands. Make a difference in the community where you live.
Let us bury our weapons immediately, as did the Anti-Nephi-Lehis. This is not the time to accuse, criticize, assault or judge in haste. Let us remember that we defend one Kingdom (Zion) and one Lord and King (Jesus Christ).
Those who recognize the signs will not fear. Thus said the Lord: “Sing, O heavens; and rejoice, O Earth, sing, O mountains, for they will no longer be wounded; because the Lord has comforted His people and His afflicted people will have compassion ”.
Let us live fully in this most sublime moment of this dispensation.
