The Sealed Book Study Center, through its missionaries, seeks to achieve one of its noblest goals: to carry the message of the sacred records to the Indigenous Nations.

Today, as we entered the village of Guarany indians - Morro dos Cavalos, we were immediately surrounded by a sweet feeling, confirming what was to happen: The Spirit of the Lord would be among us, testifying about the message of restoration.  We found an extremely receptive, organized and hardworking people.  Resigned in relation to the condition of life imposed by white men.  A reality of exclusion and social discrimination, but that does not prevent them from insistently seeking a harmonious relationship between the Indians, nature and the Great Spirit.  We can guarantee: they have much to teach us.

We read together the passage that is in Alma 22. They understood and accepted with joy the teachings.  Great was our surprise when one of the leaders, whose name is Keraxu, told us about the certainty of their ancestors, at some point having been visited by celestial beings in "spacecraft".  She was careful not to hurt our beliefs.  In a way, that was funny.  At this moment, we were induced to inform her that this fact, a visit from heavenly beings, to us, made a lot of sense.

The conversation was gentle, of extremely sacred content, and it raised us all.  We left with the certainty that we will soon meet again for further studies, this time with Sealed Book teachings.  We will gather in the Core and discuss some possibilities for action plans to engage this people so full of kindness.

As we said goodbye, we noticed Keraxu, standing beside her husband, holding the Book of Mormon close to his chest.  He said he had an eager desire to read immediately.  We were all surrounded by a feeling of love between us.  We are full of hope that the results will be the best possible.  We will keep everyone informed of the progress of this work.  I hug everyone!
